Honestly I gave up trying to understand it.

I remember when I first read it, and I honestly didn't even see her legs....just assumed she was crushed.

Then when someone mentioned her legs I went back, and all I could say was how the hell?!!!!

Only logical way would be that it initially landed in a roll around her legs (giving them that twisted broken leg position), and when Tsunade used her hands in an attempt to stop it it popped her mid-section/upper body off like a smashed worm or bug where you smash it and half of it sticks to the object and the other half is left where smashed....at least that's the only way I see it possible

I was wondering the exact same thing... How did her two halves of her body get pulled that far apart from something that can go only in one direction. Plus her feet are in an akward position.
