i think madara revived himzelf for the reazon that he planz 2 to become the perfect juubi jinchuuriki and only a living body can become of it...

In this chapter, Hashirama disabled Madara's movement easily.

I guess: In next chapters, Madara somehow will become Juubi;s host (by summoning Gedo Mezou & sealing bijjus inside it) & then He will be on par with Edo Hokages, Current Kages, Naruto, Sasuke, Gai, Kakashi, Killer Bee & Shinobi Alliance. May be.
