We should already know by now that Current Sasuke is holding back since he join the battle field.He have not show his true powers and all his Ps full features.Since Sasuke was aware before hand that he have to face madara at the battle field ,i am sure he prepared himself to fight someone at Madara skill level.Itachi already inform Sasuke about Madara personality/history during their battle,this mean Sasuke will not be suprise when they encounter,he will most likely try to end the battle quick before Madara make his move.

Even Orichimaru fine sasuke was acting unusal.
From my observation,we knew that Kishimoto alway make contrast with Sasuke and Naruto
storyline/development.I realise that Obito and tailbeasts were suppose to defeated/redeem by Naruto because obito is Naruto opposite and Naruto suppose to save the tailbeasts.As a result,Sasuke will have to fight Madara and the tailbeast (if they get repossess by madara).Madara is Sasuke parallel and Sasuke wanted to kill the tailbeast inrder to end the cruel system.I know curently Naruto and Sasuke are heading to Madara,but the battle will be more focus between Sasuke and Madara .The battle between Obito and Naruto and other ,Naruto encounter with him was more than the others(Since they TNJ each other most of the time).
Madara stated that he needed Hashirama senjutsu inorder to use his trumph card against Obito.We are aware that during Jubito battle against the shinobi allaince,Madara vs hashirama spotlight was completely remove for some chapter,this is enough time for Madara to get his trumph ready .This mean Sasuke and Naruto will be facing Madara with his trumph card.Sasuke will finally display all he have learn to someone as worthy as Madara.
