Don't get me wrong madara is powerful and has undoubtedly gotten more powerful now that he has hashi cells and rinnegan. But from what we have seen so far his PS still seems to be his strongest move.

But if PS is his full power why did he say this? has he forgotten about hashirama's buddha tecnique?

Madara probably said this because he was fully confident that he would become the juubi's jinchuriki. But now that he is not he is probably aware that he needs some form of powerup to truely surpass hashirama and have an advantage. As I stated in my theory some time ago.

it could be sage mode. It would give madara the strength to surpass hashirama and also have an advantage against Obito. If madara dosen't get something like this he could still lose to hashirama, creating a repeat of the VOTE battle and have no advantage against obito.

Are you saying he's gonna try and take Hashi's SM somehow?
I don't think Madara possesses any SM techniques himself. I doubt he obtained a technique like that after the VOTE fight and he certainly didn't show any signs of having it before the fight. His summoning was the Kyuubi, I don't think he was concerned with other summonings. Plus, Madara kinda represents the eyes of the Sage while Hashirama reps the body of the Sage. It just wouldn't be right if Madara busted out some SM technique when his rival has it already.

I see what you mean but from the evidence I provided madara is set to lose again. The only thing he can do is stall hashirama. And madara already took hashirama's DNA. this already gets rid of the eyes of the sage thing he represents since he has both powers+ rinnegan. If he dosen't get sage mode obito will target him next assuming he defeats naruto and the others.

I get what you're saying. I have no idea what Madara is planning right now, it seems like he might trying to stall Hashirama to me as well but I'm clueless on how that would benefit him... Madara is up to something big, hopefully we get more hints next chapter cause his ass is grass is Obito comes after him.
