Madara-Mito-Hashirama Love Triangle?

I've heard theories that Madara's vying for power has an ulterior motive... that he was actually inlove with Mito and she chose Hashirama instead, that's why he was so keen in destroying Konoha and beating Hashirama to prove to Mito he is better than Hashirama. Maybe that's why Madara chose Obito as his successor because their experiences are similar when it came to love and friendship, and that power is the only means to attain what you want.

Madara's motive was likely his brothers' sacrifice and eventual death, the Senju's peace offering, and how his clan betrayed him.
