Hello there, random person on the internet, I'm here to discuss a little theory I thought up a few days ago. I think that Madara is not in his final form yet. First, his staff is incomplete as seen here:

We'll get back to the staff in a little bit. Secondly, Madara appears physically different than Obito's Jinchuriki form in multiple ways, but strongly resembles the Six Paths Sage. Now here's the real kicker, what has Obito gone through in his Juubi Jinchuriki phase that Madara hasn't?

That's right, Madara has yet to have an inner conflict with the Juubi him/herself! I believe that the reason Madara stole sage mode is not necessarily to gain an immunity to senjutsu assaults or to become stronger, but it is to pacify the Juubi, which means he has not yet left the first stage of being an Juubi Jin. Also, this is for reasons of interest to the plot, as it can potentially set up an final conflict with the Juubi and Naruto once Madara's senjutsu chakra runs out. This phase Madara is in, resembles the sage less closely than Obito's did, which denotes that he is still in an inferior state. Lastly, the staff Madara has is incomplete, although this may be pure speculation, I believe that the staff is a visual indicator that someone has achieved an perfect jinchuriki (phase 2) state of the Juubi.

I think the staff is just his own choice. Also, interesting fact, The ringed staff is used to avoid hurting anything. The rings make a noise which warns insects that the priest is coming, so that he doesnt crush them. Since Madara's doesn't have the rings, he doesn't care about hurting things.

No, madara skipped that "inner conflict" altogether. i'm assuming sm has some role in making the ten tails sealing alot smoother than it was in obitos case. anyways his staff is "incomplete" because he's missing a piece of the gedo mazo and the yin kyuubi.

Interesting! At first I was gonna say I think you're right, but this guy changed my mind.

your wrong, good try, butyour wrong and here's why. upon meeting jin madara, minato immediatly states that he feels the power of the sage is stronger in him than it was in obito. secondly the incompleteness of the staff probably has less to do withpower or completeness than you think as it is more of a representation of one's will. remember the staff that they carry is not an actual staff but a construct created by omnyoden. secondly obito almost looks nothing like the sage. obito is scaly with spikes coming from him. madara looks almost identical to the sage, as he actually has a robe and doesn't have a hugehorn that double the size of the other one.

On one hand I don't like this current form and want something better.
On the other hand I think something will happen so he isn't in the spotlight soon.
They share the spotlight to keep it interesting and madara is starting to get boring for me.
Sorry for being so negative.O_O

Like many people, I think you made a wrong assumption. Madara's staff is not incomplete, it is a complete staff representing the Crescent Moon, Indra's Legacy.

Hagoromo having full Juubi chakra has both Staffs and seals which he passed on to Indra and Ashura.

Above, The Crescent Moon Staff cannot be called incomplete, it's a complete staff.

Since this thread is really old, would it be wrong to say that i totally called the seals both being a Gibbous Moon, like they were?

Resurrected by RidokuSennin and i can proudly say that his final form is a woman.
XD

Nope, they were the Sun and Moon Seals. The flames coming from the Sun Symbol, Chibaku Tensei is proof of that.

But, Kishi has connected the symbolism to the Moon also.

Above Ashura is Full Moon whereas Indra is Crescent Moon. So, Plot wise, Nope but Symbolism wise, Yes. You can get more info about this here (Other Theories by People) :-

And here is the two of them coming together to form a gibbous moon. Symbolism is one thing, but **** that, and when can you see a black silhouette of a crescent as a moon anyway?
