Madara might not be an Uchiha

Ever noticed how his Sharingan is always active.
The only other characters who are forced to do that are Kakashi and Danzo.Ninjas with Sharingan that are not Uchiha.
Could be another reason for the mask.
I know Itachi liked to use his, but not all the time.

Thats one perk of the Uchiha,the Sharingan on and off switch.

Probably just Kishi trying to make him look more menacing, but still...

When i saw the title of your thread , i was like WHATTT?! .. but now i actually like ur idea.. But just like others said , MADARA IS/WAS an Uchiha , but we're not sure about the masked man..(TOBI) .. But maybe its just Kishi trying to make him look more BADASS.. PLus , if he is not an uchiha how does he have so much knowledge about the so6p , jinchurikis etc.. Because as far as I know , the uchiha are quite talented with such stuff... But we'll get to know soon.. because madara definitely has st to do with the 6TH coffin ..

I agree with both, You still have to remember that Tobi/Madara has the DNA of the First Hokage.

i think it is madara uchiha , but i also think that he cannot take off his sharingan because its a transplanted one .
he stole it from someone else .

The fact still remains that, Itachi maintained a permanent Sharingan-activate state (yes i know it not 24/7).

Kakashi, although his sharingan is permanently active, is not using it 24/7, why, because him being an Uchiha results in severe stamina loss.

Thus, him and Danzo covering the eye(s) with something to keep them closed.

Madara has shown no exhaustion from his Sharingan state, as seen with an intense battle with Konan.

And then again, he had 2 Sharingans (Now Rinnegan)

only possible reason is that he does not own that sharingan. from all the sharingans that he had stored away, he must have at some point had gone through transplanting each one in him until he found the right one. but also come to think of it, he used izanagi against konan and which permanantly closed the sharingan that was always hidden in the mask(left eye) instead of the one that he always used (right eye). so IMO the right sharingan has something to do with the space/time technique he uses.
