I mean ever sinds the series has started Obito needed the Akatsuki the Sage powers senju Dna,Madara's name+
millions of zetsu's but in the end still failed miserably.


while Madara comes in like a boss and do things like he's drinking lemon on the beach.


I'm not gonna lie i once thought obito was a badass

but madara was using him all this time like a pawn and i bet obito thought he was cool for fooling madara.

Well...I still like Obito.....I can't just cast him aside so easily. Love is a powerful thing....those of you who know it, know what I'm talking about. Obito has been working hard...he deserves some credit imo. It is just the way the story goes....but Obito is no joke imo. Every character has their own unique qualities about them. ^_^

I've always viewed Obito as incomplete which is why I prefer Madara because it was foreshadowed back then when Obito came to the Kage Summit, disguised as Madara, that he plans to be complete.

Only half Zetsu body compared to Madara's original Hashi cells integrated to his heart
Borrowed Rinnegan as opposed to Madara's original unlocked Rinnegan
Incomplete Juubi Jink as opposed to Madara's Full Tailed Beasts (only kyuubi is missing his half but technically he's got full nine tails)

Madara is much more complex than Obito. Obito lost one loved ones and gave up. Madara lost all his loved ones, family and clan's respect. He was betrayed by the very people he swore to his dieing brother to protect. I know which one I prefer.

Just because more happened TO HIM does not make him more interesting. Madara doesn't even really seem to care about the Uchiha or anything. He's just like ex-Itachi fight Sasuke except they never even explore the idea or his motivation. Obito's was written beautifully and explored in a way Kishi has just never written before. Seeing his younger self punch him through Naruto? Self-doubt? The Hokage Obito flashbacks? The Kakashi/Obito fight?

It's been explored so much and that alone makes Obito in my Top 3 characters. With Madara? Pfft his motivation is just there, it's not explored or implemented- it just comes through as anger. Non-specific, power-hungry anger, likeeveryothervillainever

Madara is a generic shonen villain and most of the forum will agree with me. Don't even compare the 2 characters when discussing character development.

Obito got all that development because he went down first. Madara is barely starting on his own arc and has shown richer background that gives him much more justified reasons to do what he is doing now than Obito. Obito's turn to dark side was rushed and left a bad taste to Naruto manga that last year's arc was dubbed worst Naruto arc of the series.
