Sigh... izanagi can only rewrite reality when it is activated before the attack occurs or he programs the eye to use izanagi after a period of time. Madara did neither of these things because he had no idea that black zetsu would neg diff him and he was also confident that he could beat naruto and sasuke so he didn't set up izangi. And he couldn't use it after the attack because his chakra was disrupted and he couldn't move let alone use jutsu

The Ending that he got didn't make sense. Not to mention that the Character Kaguya was completely useless and wasn't needed in the story to begin With.

I think you forgot how Izanagi works. He has to PRE-EMTIVELY utilize the jutsu so that anything that happens to him thereafter can be reversed. He can't simply get injured and or die and reverse it at will afterwards, he has to cast the jutsu beforehand and anything that happens afterward can be reversed. So no, since he didn't see the attack coming, he couldn't cancel it with Izanagi.

Not to mention, we don't even know if he could use Izanagi with the Rinnegan. Just because the Rinnegan is an upgraded sharingan does not mean he still had access to the jutsu.

Black Aizetsun still rustling people's jimmies Lol? Black Zetsu base is just getting a kick out of this! No one else was about to solo Madara plus or lord and savior Kaguya had to appear in order to show things in their fullest light as well as to show off DMS kakashi and further abilities of Naruto and sasuke but they needed a God/goddess not dome cheap imitation of one. Our mother Kaguya was the necessary. Opponent for the fight otherwise madara would've gotten Solo'd. All hail our mother Kaguya #Blackzetsubase #Wetakingover #Stayrustled

But seriously Kaguta was the necessary opponent for them. Sure Madara would've been good but tbh the dynamic wouldn't be the same. It's basically past indra reincarnation vs indra reincarnation and ashira reincarnation. Kaguya was the root of all problems and she was a goddess a befitting villain. In most animes anyway the main character(s) usually fight some god like deity anyway and Naruto is no exception. Plus Kaguya is the root of all that the oast has wrought while sasuke and Naruto and the seeds if the future. A more befitting battle couldn't have taken place. Plus with the constant change in scenary it made the battle feel refreshing and not some drawn out battle in the same location. You madara fans are just salty and the rest simply ungrateful I for one appreciate the appearance of kaguya no matter how you ache and complain you cannot deny that only one of kaguya's calobir was about to take the beatdiwns that Naruto and team seven where about to deliver. Kaguya had the grand raw power but she simply lacked a strategic mind.

Agreed, It should've been something like Madara willingly reabsorbing black zetsu because he thought it was his own will but after black zetsu coats him, BZ reveals that he is actually Kaguya's will and then the transformation occurs.

Also Kaguya was majorly nerfed, For someone who was supposed to be stronger than Madara, she was very weak. As soon as she appeared, she should've had thousands of her own limbo clones surround them, each with their own susanoo. That would've been more realistic.

Overall, pretty bad ending.

Nah...

Madara was really really crafty and cunning, however, he could of never in a million years anticipate and predict the betrayal of Black Zetsu. He thought that Black Zetsu was his creation.....his essence, but it turns out that Black Zetsu belonged to Kaguya the whole time.

There's actually many explanations one can give for why Madara couldn't use izanagi here hence....not a plot hole at all.

People on NB claim plot hole far too often.
