[Predictions] Madara lives through end of Edo Tensei

I am fairly positive Madara is going to keep on trucking despite edo tensei being canceled. Alot of people have been posting about how Madara should have killed atleast one kage, or how his techs are 'lame' given how much they were talked up. Kishi won't let him go without leaving his mark.

We clearly haven't seen anywhere near the full range of his abilities, and I'm surprised no one has considered summons, not like the Kyuubi is the only summon someone as 'big' in the narutoverse as Madara would have. To be honest I'm just waiting on Madara to troll us all with this overlooked Rinnegan summon:

Or even more simple given he is an Uchiha who now conveniently has Senju DNA (Thnx Kabuto), how about the ever classic technique, that can only be used by one who possesses both of them?

Madara sacrifices an eye, changes his reality where the hand signs done by Kabuto unbound his soul, to an illusion-made-real where that never even happened. Tons of possibilities when it comes to that tech.

Just saying. I think a lot of you aren't giving Madara enough credit, he IS cocky, but he isn't an idiot, despite how he has acted thus far. :shrug:

Izanagi changes ones reality. Kabuto's hand signs are not Madara's reality, they affect his reality but it's not something that can be changed with Izanagi.

Example: Danzo is pierced by Sasuke's arrow. He doesn't make Sasuke miss, he makes himself not hit.

The same trick would not work with Kabuto's hand signs. At least logic wise, cause I'm always waiting on plot no jutso to come and make me eat my own words.

You are correct there, I didn't word it correctly. What I wrote would mean none of the Edo's would be disappear.


I meant use Izanagi to make the unsealing of Edo Tensei (which is currently happening to Madara), a mere illusion. It controls his reality, no?

Ie. Not making the Jutsu not happen, just make it not apply to himself. As per your arrow reference.

But I agree, we don't have any idea what could happen. I could be eating my words too as Madara is whisped away next chapter (would be a shame imo).

Edit: Seems most people don't see Madara hanging around, I think you guys are really under-rating him . We'll know next week hopefully.

I strongly believe after all that and seeing how much pain Itachi was in and how the 3rd tried to stop the Uchiha from getting hurt Sasuke should ****ing wake up now and stop being stubborn. It wasn't Itachi's fault it wasn't the leafs fault it was Danzos fault and Tobi. I think in the middle of Naruto and Tobis fight Sasuke should jump in the middle of it and tobi think that it was back up for him but instead Sasuke attacks tobi and says it was ur fault. and shit like that. That's what i hope happens because itachi was trying so hard. and in the end he still loves sasuke no matter what he did if u think about it every action he took was to protect his brother.

A major hole in your theory is that using izanagi sets up a huge loop,

MU uses Izanagi cancelling out Edo Tensai

Sasuke or Theoretically anyone with the power to control someone else (genjustu or otherwise) to simply use kabuto (who to this day is still immobalized)
to recall madara once again.

Not only does this mean MU must keep using Izanagi, but it means that he will keep sealing his sharigan away eventual after 2x he will go blind and be rendered without Rinnegan or any Sharingan.

He can't really just control life and death, my thinking was more like:

Kages: *Damn, saved by the bell, sweet lol*

Madara: *Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique*

Kages: *Blank stare*

-Samsara restores soul to Edo madara vessel-

Plot no jutsu successful. After all, that was the technique he planned to come back to life with originally if we look back. Madara knows a bit about this all obviously, he aint no fool .

Neither Izangai or Rinne Rebirth can save him. To revive someone with the Rinnegan their soul has to be in the afterlife. The whole point of him was one to give some foreshadowing to what Sasuke is going to become and two to give the Itachi and Kabuto fight a more suspense. Although that was a failure. Kabuto vs Itachi may have been the most boring fight in the series. But Madara has served his purpose so he can go right back to being dead.

Like saw2097 said, Samsara of Heavenly Life bring restores life to the souls on the after life. And if you want to sketch this possibility you have to take into account what we know about this technique;

Uses a shit load of chakra - Not a problem to Madara

Fetches the Soul from the after life - Madara's soul is now bound to the Impure World, so this one fails.

Guides the soul back to it's body - Madara's body has long decayed into dust. The body he is using now belongs to a "sacrificial goat". Even if his soul weren't in the Impure world it would have no body to comeback to.

It's my personal belief that what Tobi and Madara were hopping for Nagato to do was some sort of self turning avatar, where Nagato would cead his body to Madara's soul. This also is not achievable for Madara right now.

So if we are to see Madara again it will have to be by the hand of Tobi, but I honestly do not believe this will happen. Tobi seemed to had Madara scratched out of his plans a while ago and as soon as he saw Madara on that coffin, I believe he thought of it as a no turning back point. The Moon Eye Plan would go on even without Madara. Kabuto summoning Madara was a bonus Kishi gave us so we could have a glimpse of both Madara and Hashirama's power. It was long due throughout the series and I believe he took this chance to give us that.

But no it's done and the plot must go on. We already have a main villain, Tobi, there was no need nor room for another one, especially one like Madara. Madara staying would render Tobi's existence and identity useless, plot wise that is.

Fair points. I guess I'm biased because I prefer Madara over Tobi, long have. But you are right that Tobi is the villian, and Madara really just a 'weapon' of Kabuto's. We'll see next week I guess .

Madara is practically fading like the rest of the edos. but i don't like for him to go just yet. i do believe that he will remain and continue on insulting the kages. it would be such a bummer for the kages to just win the fight just cause madara faded away.
we'll see next week. crossing my fingers that hw won't fade just yet. we need an epic fight!!!
