Probably they will fight Madara with Sasuke's Susano, can Naruto Sakura and Kakashi power it up ? Can they do somethink to break the Genjutsu. They must fight Madara, now they are only in defence possition, but they can't stay like that forever.

That's because they were just supposed to hold the Madara shadows off, Naruto was focused on destroying the giant meteors and saving everyone from getting killed.

Its called prioritizing.

Naruto has to multi-task while Sasuke can only focus on one thing at a time.
