Madara is Kishi's prized villain. He was introduced way back at the beginning of Shippuden as a legend. He received hype all the way throughout part 2. He even outlasted Obito. Heck, Kishi used Madara for Tobi's alias because Madara is just that badass.

All those plot power ups? It's because Madara is Kishi's treasure, his favorite villain.

As such, Madara will, one way or the other, become even stronger than Juubito.
Right now, he is the strongest person alive, and that isn't going to change.

Obito is just some plot device so that Madara can have a henchman/pawn to use.

Madara is the final villain.

I don't think so. Madara has evolved way beyond Obito. Remember when Obito was viciously attacking the SA with 2 stage Juubi, testing Naruto? Obito was trying to confirm his own beliefs.


Madara told Obito that Obito was just like how Madara used to be. However, Madara is way past the stage of trying to test others for confirmation. He is at the point where everything is simply entertainment to him, no more real than something from a video game. He is too far in to be simply TNJed.
