I personally think that since obito kept on talking about rin and kakashi all the time that madara was able to use his influence in the mist village to send out his "guinea pigs" to cause the change necessary to get obito to his side. What I am saying is that madara was in control of the mist village some how as stated by kisame the biggest thing i want to impose is why were so many mist ninja on kakashi and rin in the first place i am not douting that kakashi killed her i am saying that madara sent the mist ninja to fight them and therefore caused the death of rin.

i agree with you and believe this is what happen. my first thoughts after reading the chapters was that madara had to have put obito under genjutsu or had his white zetsu to acutally great the scene, but after thinking about it all i came to the same conclusion as you

I think people just need to accept the fact:
1) madara has nothing to do with this
2) kakashi killed rin on his own accord
3) kakashi probably(not 100% sure) had a good reason to kill rin

Well we aren't far way from next week's chapter. I am more interested in why the other villages wanted Rin for information. I could careless about her assassin.
