Listen, I'm not a Madara nor Uchiha fanboy but I'll go with some simple logic. Don't get soo butthurt if you don't agree.

Madara (with EDO at the limit ) > Juubi

The Sage Of Six Paths was able to subdue the Ten Tails without being it's host meaning he was able to control it by force with his own power. We know that the SO6P has every abilities that comes with the Senju DNA, Uchiha tech such as EMS, the Rinnegan and immense chakra.
The current Madara has the Senju DNA, EMS, Rinnegan and the knowledge. The only thing he's missing is be the immense chakra reserve but I still think he can overcome the Ten Tails. At the limit, Edo Madara can do it due to infinite chakra and let's say the Ten-Tails could actually seal.

Rikudo was only able to use the rinnegan he never had a Sharingan or MS , it is said that madara was the 1st to awaken the MS, and Rikudo sealed the juubi inside him ....and madara do not have much power than juubi cuz if he had then he wouldn't need juubi chakra to cast a infinite tsukuyomi ...

I doubt Rikudo didn't have MS, Uchiha are his descendant so he obviously had the Sharingan. To cast the infinite tsukuyomi you need a lot of chakra and the only way to get that amount of chakra is with the Ten-Tails. More chakra doesn't make the Ten-Tails stronger than Madara. Naruto has more chakra than Madara yet he gets fodderized by him.

Madara is confident he can be come the Jinchuriki. And since he is edo, it only adds to the possibility of it working. IMO, Madara is not only going to be able to execute the MEP, but also become the host of the Juubi forever, since he is edo tensei form. (not saying this will happen in the series, but he can do it).

Kishi said no one will ever become stronger than the Sage. We also don't know that the Sage had the sharingan or its abilities. It is actually very unlikely that he did because the Sage's elder son didn't get complete Rinnegan, with every generation their eyes mutated a little bit more and eventually we got "sharingan".

So the Base Sage at his prime still defeats Madara. Even when he becomes the Juuni's jinchuuriki.

2)Base Sage w/o Juubi made the moon. And he was an old man on his deathbed.

I have a question. Madara's original plan was to be revived in Non-Edo form with his Rinnegan and EMS abilities. He obviously planned on becoming the host for 10 tails as this plan of his was in process since decades. I am unsure if he tops the sage, but he must be pretty strong to take on the ten tails on his own.

First, I'm a Naruto fanboy, actually I won't call myself a Naruto fanboy because I love many characters in the series and my **** doesn't go on a rampage when I hear his name. However, explain to me how an Uchiha at full potential with Senju DNA, Rinnegan and the best knowledge about fighting would lose to the Juubi. Wait did I forget to add edo = Infinite chakra replenish? + like many people stated above, do you really think Obito or Madara would plan on reviving the Ten-Tails and get fodderized by it? Obito was planning on doing it alone. I'm sure the Ten-Tails is famous for it's immense chakra but someone with Rinnegan, Senju/Uchiha DNA can overcome it.

He isn't stronger than the Juubi either...he may have a way to subdue it, but it doesn't mean that he is stronger than it.

So unless the Ten-Tails Immediately gets sealed into Madara or Obito after revival, they would have to pull out a fight with it. They are only interested with the Ten-Tails for it's chakra.
