I believe that madara will come back, but as a good guy. Just like obito is now, if you take it in, he technically did bring peace. Theres an actual "shinobi" alliance, instead of different ninja clans. The alliance have come together to rid them of danger, meaning there is love and team work, they all have common goal and can agree on it.

Madara has achieved peace, might be unintentionally, but technically still part of the plot, there are chances he'l be spoken to about how the senju and the uchiha could never achieve "true" peace, and how madara has achieved even greater than that, he's brought the whole ninja system to a whole single team fighting on common goals.
