Madara isn't immortal

For two reasons:

1: If Madara is immortal because he has the first's cells, then Yamato and Danzo should be, and hell, so should the first himself.

2: If Madara is immortal, he wouldn't need to have bothered using Izanagi in his fight with Konan.

he might still be immortal, but it wouldnt make any sense.

@ reason 2, being immortal doesn't mean that he experiences no pain, also he is still liable to having limbs blown off.

If you are refering to the new chapter. No he isn't immortal. But he already made it clear he wants to make the perfect body, so My guess is he has being pulling an orochimaru. No where does it state he can't die. He is just basically un touchable right now due to his war support and the fact he has pwning jutsus.


Wait well he sort of is immortal, but not in the same body. His soul would be though.

@No. 1: Not necessarily, they aren't direct descendants of the two brothers, as he claims to be, so that isn't a concrete example.

@No. 2 He ain't no Hidan. He doesn't crave pain for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hourly snacks in between. With Kakazu gone, he would have n way of having his limbs reattached. And don't even mention Kabutorochimaru, he doesn't trust him at all, and will kill him the second he doesn't need him.

They meant immortal more in the lines of him being so old and the fact that he is still alive long past his time. I don't think he is literally immortal cause then there would be no point at all in fighting him.

I think here they're saying he's immortal if you don't TRY to kill him, but you CAN, even if you do though it would be extra hard.
