True, he never was really a villain. That stone monument and what he saw (The God Tree) changed the way he looked at the world, and made that "dream" his life goal.

But i think it'd be too cliche if he turned good.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He'll lose his ten tails power but he'll still have his 3 eyes. It'll be sasuke, naruto, Hashirama and madara vs juubi Jin kaguya

Yeah you are right! Still he wants happiness and peace for everyone. I bet he doesn't know about the horrors of the Mugen tsukuyomi like s06p told Sasuke and Naruto!

My guess that he is not. Not sure what trick Kishi will pull next, though. There are a lot of holes at the moment, not to mention that ground tapping panel.
