Edo`s don't have infinite chackra. Their were many edos who displayed allot of fatigue/loss of chakra during their fights. What madara mostlikly meant was that he can over spam his chakra till the point he dies and regenerates.

For example: Didn't muu have to wait to regenerate his chakra to be able to summon Madara?
And why can he not use jinton right now? Its all because his chakra is low now.

I think Madara doesnt feel any serious chakra loss so he made a conclussion. This could be due to extra added Hashi Dna which hes not wary about. Madara is so op even hes not aware of his true potential. Makes sense why he said Hashi could challenge him.
