I know some of you may know that I believed Tobi was Madara for the longest time and I have now come to understand and live with the fact that he is Obito, I am being completely honest when I say it is even more exciting and entertaining this way. Although I made up many theories that were actually admired and would not have been a bad way for Madara to use Obito more directly, but anyhow, I am over it.
Looking back at all of his fights after the fact, it is not that hard to realize that the man behind the mask was definitely an Uchiha, and a very skilled one. If you observe his fights with formidable opponents like the Yondaime Hokage and Akatsuki's Konan, you can clearly see the shortcomings in his experience and the mistakes he made due to his overconfidence.
Some people saw that right away and knew it could not be someone of Madara's caliber. Those who didnt, just had too much faith in the Yondaime Hokage. I simply thought that Madara could not fight with his full potential due to his body being ripped from him.
Even as a child, Obito was over zealous and clumsy. Not much had changed with him as an adult when his skills were truly tested against the best. Although his jutsu is still one of the best there is, he had too much faith in it and his Uchiha heritage, and little respect for his opponent. That is the reason he was easily beaten by Minato, and almost killed by Konan.
Uchiha Madara on the other hand is a God among ninjas. Such petty flaws are well beneath him. He never underestimates his opponents or knows it is fatal to do so. On top of that, I can confidently say there is no one in the Naruto world today, with more battle experience than him. Plus....he has the full power of the Sharingan and Rinnegan. A truly unstoppable force, in every sense of the word.
