Madara is using a fragment of power. PNJ strikes! 8 gates Gai way below juubi's level

Though many already know this or disagree, I want to state that Madara is keeping his power at bay due to plot restrictions. If he went all out, I am sure that he would wipe all ninjas on the battlefield. Also, I don't believe that Gai 8 gates even stand a chance. Eight gates power make you above a kage and its power does not rise to divine realms;while the juubi is a god. It has more chakra than any human would have and can destroy entire mountain ranges with its tails or destroy a city with his normal attack, a small tailed beast bomb. Madara like Obito is going easy with the juubi powers. He makes it seem that the juubi is limited to chakra spheres but the manga states that juubi should be omnipotent and capable of doing all kinds of op techniques. Rinnegan and sharingan come from the juubi and chakra prowess is concerned with the ten tails.

First I would like to state that eight gates guy is still limited to a power that lies in human realms. His body cannot handle infinite power like the Juubi. Also, Madara as juubi jinchuriki can be considered stronger than any version of gai if the manga proves it which it did indeed. The seals that bound juubi were more powerful than rikudo's version of the seal naruto used to block kurama after defeating kyuubi. What did obito do? He crushed all of it in mere seconds and this was not even the curren stronger juubi. Madara is the jinchuriki of nearly perfect juubi but right now is displaying a power that makes it look like Gai stands a chance. However, we know what the juubi is capable of but manga right now is showing this: SM Alive Madara> Juubi jinchuriki Madara>=Gai.

Madara is fighting on par with kakashi and almost weakened obito. Also, Gai is pushing him in 7 gates mode. There, we can deny that Madara is showing more than 30 percent of his power when he is the host of shinju which granted the rikudo senni a power so great that even on the verge of death, could be used to create the moon.

Makes me wonder how Kishi will destroy what I believe to be his favorite character currently. I feel Sasuke will take Madaras place as his favorite....I believe Sasuke was his very first fav? So he will be returned to that status once Kishi finishes powering him up imo.

Humans are like that we could neglect one thing for a time then take a look at it one day and it's our most precious thing. I feel Kishi is that way with his creations. Idk.....I believe it's all too apparent Kishi loves the Uchiha a lot though.

OT: I agree I feel if Kishi truly let Madara go all out the story would be over in a few minutes. It'd be quite boring..... I believe he has to restrict Madara for the story, and I believe the same was done to Obito.

1. Obviously every villain in Naruto has not acted intelligently and gone all out. Nothing is stopping Madara from doing what Obito did just a few chapters ago.

2. Gai has no hopes of actually defeating/truly injuring Madara. Obito in this state could tank regular jutsu and explosions with ease.

3. I will say, you're kind of putting down the 8th gate. It's power is supposed to go beyond the Kage combined... Which is actually fairly powerful. The key here is the speed. Most likely, we'll have a return of the Gaara vs Lee scene. Madara won't really have the true potential to make an efficient stop on Gai due to his overwhelming speed; however, he'll be in no danger due to his durability.... In short, this move does nothing, but beat Madara around to buy time.

4. SM Madara > Jinjuriki Madara?! Not at all. I know you're saying this is what the manga has shown... I greatly disagree. Firstly, Obito and Kakadu Trent doing anything. Their best plan for trying to save Naruto was to sacrifice one of them to send someone to Kamuiland.... Just by standing still... Madara could take out one of the two with literally minimal effort. They weren't fighting on par it was entirely one sided. He also made a joke out of FTG.

5. Technically speaking, the Juubi is of the same realm as humans... It exists on earth. It just happens to be stronger than humanity as a species. So Gai is using the full power granted to regular humans.

6. We can't accurately gauge what percent of his power is being used. Sure Gai pushed him around... Just because he's the Juubi Jinjuriki doesn't automatically make him the fastest character. Just think of Lee vs Gaara... Overall, Gaara was a superior combatant... Problem was, he couldn't hit Lee in gates.

7. Even on his death bed, if you think about it... It wouldn't limit his use of jutsu. The jutsu requires a certain chakra limit to be used. Considering his years of skill AND understanding of chakra.... I'd say it isn't that surprising. We also haven't seen exactly how this happened... So for all we know this phrase merely means it was one of his last actions just before dying.





But yeah.... Obviously Gai won't do anything that'll jeopardize Madara.... It'll just be a repeat of Lee vs Gaara.... Just that Madara will be nowhere near as messed up.

Well I've been contemplating the concept of the 8th gate since this whole 2/3 years this darn battle started. Considering Gai isn't the main character.... the chances of his efforts succeeding in much of ANYTHING are basically 0%...

The best he can do is be a significant stalling device. Other than that... his ultimate contribution may have been to deal a blow that wouldn't register immediately, but in the final seconds the effects of his 8th gate come through causing Madara to be a second too slow. Kind of like Jellal vs Natsu... with Erza's sword slash stopping Abyss break had you watched Fairy Tail (though many don't like it).

This is the only reason I don't want gai to go 8 gates, because it logically should not do anything to him. The regular Madara exceeded the power of the combined gokage and edo hokages. This would just be a bit too much.

However if gai has to die by using 8th gate it better do something >.> or i'll be mad.
