They were not killed. Hagoromo specifically told Naruto that their lives were dependent on their friends. That he could not return them to the living world himself.

Kabuto saved Sasuke's life before he died, Obito saved Naruto's life before he died. Neither died, neither was resurrected.
As I already said, their organs would still be "alive" for a while, just like Madara was considered dead but his eyes still worked for a period of time after. Their hearts stopped and Sakura had to even work his body for him and provide oxygen, because he could not himself.

And guess what? Kabuto kept Sasuke's lungs and heart functioning just as Sakura kept Naruto's functioning, which kept them alive.
There's also the fact that their lack of function was most definitely reversed. So there's 2 points going against you.

They did in-fact irreversibly cease to function (by normal standards), which is why Sakura had to artificially pump his blood and provide him oxygen. That's like saying Gaara didn't die because soon after some magical event went down, his body came back to life, or that Madara never died before his final death because he came back to life twice.

What you're saying is that anyone who has ever had CPR performed was dead and resurrected, which is absolutely not the case.
Your examples have absolutely no bearing on this case. Sakura performed a real medical function to keep Naruto alive. Had the same situation happened in our world, a normal doctor could have done exactly the same and Naruto would never be considered dead.
You seem to have a great ignorance of the definition of the word "irreversible."
If their heart and lungs stopped performing, then they did legally die.
It makes perfect sense, because Sakura specifically stated she could not help Naruto herself, and neither would a real doctor unless they could give Naruto Kurama's chakra. His body was beyond medical help, even in this stories standards.

your original point is mute anyway, "he didnt kill anybody" barely anybody died in this series othar than villians. now who did he defeat? damn near everybody important, u name it. hashi, tobirama, kages, naruto and sasuke, minato, kakashi, gai, bijuus including bee, then theres the fact he literally had everybody in the world via IT, where even orochimaru was shown being affected, countries, even animals.

1. It's "moot."
2. Obito and Pain sure killed plenty of named characters. Infinitely more than Madara, and the mark of a true villain is the impact they had on the series. Without death, Madara did very little.
3. I know? I'm literally only speaking about Madara's named character body count, which is still 0.
