Madara is so like Palpatine

I mean, c'mon, orchestrating Rin's death, manipulating the Mist ninja just to die, who else could it be (hint, the guy that orchestrated the Republic and Separatists to fight a pointless war). I mean, seriously, he wanted to manipulate a kind hearted man (Obito) to give in to hatred, and destroy his friends, to bring him greater power? He even had a weakness built into him, so he could just be killed if he became to powerful (like he design flaws of Darth Vader's suit). Heck, he even literally says he wanted to bring Obito to the dark side, can't get much more Star Wars than that.

Madara is a bad villain who had enough plot holes (like one million plot holes *Dr. Evil*) to make his "plans" actually work. Kinda like Palpatine in the prequel trilogy.

Although I actually like both villains (although neither held a candle to their first in command Obito/Darth Vader).

I really love the Star Wars films for how they played out in the prequel trilogy. Revenge of the Sith was my favourite out of the prequel trilogy, it tied everything up and completed the story.
