I've read the chapter. I read it right after the episode. As I said, some scenes didn't happen, the fight was increased. Filler scnes. Badass filler scenes, but still, filler.

Who cares, it had madara on it, so for me it got extended a little bit and i will consider it as canon. My opinion

Basically every fight in the anime that was in the manga has filling scenes in it, this helps the transistions to move more smoothly otherwise you would have characters teleporting and it wouldn't make sense.
