Kabuto erased muu's conciousness and took him over.

I'm not talking about whether or not madara will go away once kabuto releases edo. Im saying he cant possibly be controlling the edos while hes in izanami.

Again, he would have expressed anger at being controlled like a puppet by some snake nerd in glasses.

Errm no. His body isnt moving on its own because Kabuto has given him the freedom to do anything he wants since Madara already wants to fight.Kabuto can take full control of him if he wants.

He might be there because muu summoned him, so if muu gets released madara is alive until muu is restored or until madara is sealed.

Muu didnt summon madara he just moved his coffin from one spot to another kinda like how animal path was able to move the other paths inside konoha so if kabuto ends it madara should disappear

Let me just point out one fact. WHEN EDO TENSEI IS RELEASED, MADARA WILL DISAPPEAR. Some people here are not understanding that.

And I didn't completely know what you were trying to say, but yes, currently Madara has been given free reign to do what he wants, and is under no control. I think that is what your thread is trying to say.
However, some people seem to think that Kabuto can't ever take full control, and that's completely wrong. If Kabuto weren't in Izanami, he would be able to take complete control of Madara. Once again, I want people to understand this.

Sorry if this is already obvious to you, but i see so many posts like "...once madara breaks free of kabutos control..." so I just wanted to clear a few things up.

First off, madara seemed to think that he was revived by gedo rinne tensei seeing as he said "It appears that brat nagato has grown up". Of course, those revived by gedo rinne tensei just come back to life and arent controlled.

Here, kabuto doesn't know madaras intentions since he asked if madara was going to crush both of them. Further proof that madara isnt being controlled.

Finally, now that kabuto is under izanami, he obviously isnt controlling anybody anymore. Madara begins activating his perfect susanoo, and says that he has decided to answer the 5 kages with his true stregnth.

If all of this isnt enough proof, i think that madaras arrogance is. You can bet that he'd be seriously pissed off if kabuto was controlling his movements.

The way I see it...

Madara is in control of his own actions. Hence the questions from Kabuto via the body of Muu, and the ability to act independently regardless of Kabuto being put under Izanami. That leads me to Muu.

I'm not exactly sure what happens when the controller of the "mind control tags" in the heads of the edos becomes sedated, but I could imagine the controlled either regain thier minds, (doubtful because the jutsu was never released, pbut possible) or they kinda just stop what they're doing on the spot like a RC car with no driver. So I think its safe to assume Muu may just be standing around somewhere. Idk I may be wrong on that one.

And not only do I agree with Kratos of cruxis, I believe I used the exact reference to the summoning process in another thread. Summoning is just a transportation/space time jutsu. It only moves things the way they are, to another predetermined location. Meaning Madara was an edo before he was summoned by Muu. If Kabuto is forced to release edo, I believe Madara WILL disappear seeing as he is not releasing the summoning jutsu, but edo instead.

It wasn't neccesary for Kabuto to control Madara, KinGin bros, Deidara, Kakuzu and Kimimaro because they already despised the villages.
