Madara is too determined to be TNJed.

He has matured far beyond Obito.

He told Obito that Obito reminded him about how he used to be. That means Madara's will has evolved beyond Obito's.

Also, Madara controlled the Juubi in an instant whereas Obito had a huge struggle. As far as we know, the key to controlling the Juubi is willpower, and Obito had quite a struggle.

Madara didn't struggle at all, indicating absolutely no sense of self doubt, no sense of confusion. Madara knows who he is, what he wants, and is 100% determined.

It's going to take way more to change his mind that what it took to change Obito's.

I might go as far to say that even if Izuna was revived and confronted Madara, Madara would just cut Izuna down.


I think Kishi wrote himself into a hole. On one hand, Madara is too strong, on the other, he is way too determined.

I can't think of a good way to end the villain.

Possible reasons as to why madara tamed juubi faster then obito:
1. Obito was near death, it hard to control anything in such state. Its a fact.
2. Madara has his chaka enhanced by SM. Once runs off madara may have a struggle. Another fact
3. Obito sealed matured juubi, it actually got time to evolve and get more chakra. Madara didnt. Fact?
4. Somehow two gourds are heavy for madara, it may hint his weakness or just plot needed BS. Debatable.

His absolute will is what subjugated the Juubi so easily compared to Obito.

If the Juubi tears Madara to shreds, then that would be bad from a writing standpoint.

Look at Majin Buu and Cell, they were both defeated in Epic ways. Aizen was defeated in an epic way. Heck, even Nagato was defeated in an epic way.

A top villain should never go down the way you suggested.

Madara is the opposite. he actually wants to kill everyone and Doesn't care about anyone.

Only way for madara to be defeated is the the juubi overpowering him.
