Madara has lived long enough to prove that. He's immortal unlike s06p.
So6p was described to have these kind of powers. And here you go Madara can do them.

Madara was the 1st one to awakened rikudou's rinnegan and that allowed him to summon the shell of Juubi plus to learn all of the six elements + an unique techniques like the 7 paths.
He knows how to use INYOTON jutsu, which is enough to be apart with the s06p already. He've got his body and eyes. And powers.
If he can spam giant meteors, he can create a moon also. He's about to seal Juubi And cast a genjutsu large enough to be as big as the moon.

i don't understand why people keep comparing characters to the so6p ..... the so6p is the origin of shinobi, the creater of jutsu and the juubi (A GOD), all what the characters are doing now is playing with his toys (weapons, pets) so even if madara can do one or two jutsu of the so6p's that doesn't mean that they are on the same level ..... so6p is not there to be compared to anyone coz its pointless

#1 The So6P's was, for all intents and purposes, the master of the rinnegan. Madara awoken them SHORTLY before his death. So he didnt have the same amount of time and exp with them as the Sage. #2 I bet the Sage could've created a jutsu to make himself immortal, but he was a noble man and saw value in death. Nothing is meant to be immortal. It is selfish to be immortal. I dont see the sage, a caring and giving being, doing that. #3 As I said above, I dont think he has had the amount of exp with Inyoton as the Sage did. Hell, the sage was creating justu left and right. That is like saying, a student of Jeet Kune Do could go toe-to-toe with Bruce Lee... there is a reason why he is called the master.

Nope, Madara is nothing compared to the Sage.

Since when could he make moons, and even if he could, the Sage made the moon..in his old age without the Juubi, he can make it much bigger with the Juubi in his prime.

The Sage is the master of the Rinnegan, and the original wielder.

And so what if he knows Yin-Yang Jutsu? The Sage's Yin-Yang is better than Madara's (Creation of all Things).

Madara will not surpass the Sage, and he currently is nothing compared to him.
