Ofc he is great skilled and giftet with powerful Eyes. He even managed to steal more powerful abilities in order to increase his power even more.
BUT he has one weakness and that decided his downfall.
Madara never learns from his mistakes...
Hashirama finished him by striking him from behind
Even though he stated before that no one is able to get behind him
Clever Shinobi learn from their mistakes, if they have the chance to. Madara had the chance by getting edo'd/revived.
Still, he did not learn from that mistake.
In the latest chapter he let his guard down again and was stepped from his backside AGAIN
In the end Madara deserves to have such a stupid death because he did not learn - it's his own fault.
A good Shinobi does not make such a mistake.
Even kakashi told us to never let your guard down
