[Discussion] Madara & Hashirama's Friendship Level

On a scale on the poll above, what do you personally think was the magnitude of the "friendship" between Madara and Hashirama ? Due to the way on how it currently is in the manga and recent anime episodes it seems to take quite a lot of twists and turns and would like to hear your input on the matter.

Imho, it's no different than Sasuke and Naruto's except for the fact they actually haven't been seen kissing. It's a close one but the love between Naruto and Sasuke still surpasses the love between Madara and Hashirama, though. :eww:

Who's to say that they did not ? Remember that we only got a glimpse of Hashirama and Madara's interaction throughout the series during pivotal moments.

It's hard to label the relationship. They were drawn to each other, experienced similar losses, and both wished they could change the status quo. Although their personalities were very different, I believe there was initially a strong bond and also a friendly rivalry.

Even when their ideals diverged, they couldn't ignore each other. Despite seeking opposing goals, they seemed to always respect each other's power and skill.

I get the sense that Madara was the one who changed his feelings toward Hashirama, but that Hashi always sought to restore what they had before.
