Madara has an imperfect Yin-Yang release.

This is not a bashing thread. I actually like madara but this is something I think. You are welcome to disagree.

Now Yin-Yang release was explained by obito when he was fighting konan as shown here.

Basically the Sage of the six paths had the ability to bring what ever he wanted into existence. Just by using his chakra.

Izanagi is a sub-power of the creation of all things jutsu it is not creation of all things jutsu itself.

Now while I think madara is capable of using Izanagi perfectly, I can't say the same for creation of all things jutsu. Let us see why.

As one can see Madara looked like he created black Zetsu from nothing and even said that obito could create white zetsus with Yin-Yang release as his pawns. Now what is the difference between what madara did and what the rikudou did? Well madara needed hashirama cells to bring the zetsus into existence. In other words he needed pre-existing material, even black zetsu was made using this method. As it is another zetsu infused with madaras will.

Now someone can say that the tailed beasts were from the juubi as well. But the rikudou only used the juubis chakra and even if he did use it obito said the sage created many things.

This is the reason why madara has an imperfect Yin-Yang release. Because he needs pre-existing material to use and from then change it to what ever he wants he can't just bring anything into existence.

Ofcourse the same thing can be said for Obito since he learned from madara although I am not sure of now since he is the juubis jinchuriki. Like I said I am not bashing madara and obito. Obviousely the rikudou is the strongest in the narutoverse right now and Obito and madara are the closest to the rikudou interms of mastering his abilities.

Madara is uchiha, he is only a part. He needs hashirama - senju for this. Sage was both in one.

Yea, but madara got it artifically, while sage had it naturaly. I guess, solution would be child of uchiha and senju ... also considering genetics and heredity. Not all children would have complete.

Okay, so to explain how black zetsu was made. It was a projection of Madara's will onto White Zetsu, call it an alter ego for white zetsu.

Yin Yan release techniques such as Izanagi takes something spiritual and manifests it so that it becomes real. So yes, you need something like the sharingan to create a genjutsu (yin) projection and to fully make the projection a reality you'll need something with life force or something that emits natural energy (yang) (Hashirama's Cells). I wouldn't say it's imperfect, because he actually does use it effectively. And to be perfectly fair to Madara's case, he wasn't the only one to use Yin Yang techniques in his clan. Itachi used Izanami and a lot of Uchiha's were known for using Izanagi without the use of Hashirama's cells. I think the cells make the process more efficient (like adding fuel to a fire).

The reason why I called it imperfect was because he used something that was already there and changed it. He didn't create zetsu from scratch.
