I'll agree on the Physical illness part, but Madara wasn't necessarily the most mentally Stable person in the series.

It took some time to regenerate Madara's limbs, the time he was talking with Wuubito, he was all time just a floating body, in the end. He as you said, instantly regenerated them. I doubt the same thing would happen to Kaguya even if she didn't get struck by varied rasen shurikens.

Since after Madara becoming a juubi jin, or even anyone who had a Juubi in him, instead of being buffed, he loses a large amount of reflexes and becomes an idiot. It's like trade your brain for some power.

I also noticed something. reading that chapter where Madara with Wuubito had a chat. Just like Obito's hands, Madara managed to pierce him as well. They're like gum or something.

That was half a body though. When he lost an arm and had a chunk out of his side he healed quicker. The stolen SM must've run out. Although half a body would take longer. I still think Kaguya was nerfed, at least compared to her hype.
