When Hagoromo sealed Kaguya ( Juubi ) inside himself ... did Kaguya dead .

When Madara absorbed the holy tree ( which Kaguya was inside it ) did Kaguya dead .

It is the same situation with Madara .

The difference between the 2 instances being that up until now we never heard of Kaguya taking over Hago. You still get points for trying though.
