Madara gave zero ****s about Sasuke cutting him. If he had, Sasuke would have been stopped. Madara suffered no real damage; the injury was purely to further the plot by allowing Hagoromo to meet the Hokages. If anything, the injury highlights Madara's healing capabilities.

doesn't matter if he cared or not he still got REKT and what if sasuke could steal his power somehow? or seal him? would he still not care?
