Having no weakness makes you a freaking beast that is nearly undefeatable. But that doesn't make him invincible, it just means that in order to beat him you have to literally be stronger than him. At the moment their is no character alive that can beat him.
I believe in that interview he said they were the strongest dead ninjas in konoha. Certain characters were not affiliated with konoha but were from the village ex. itachi, orochimaru, and madara. Also it can be stated that within time kishimoto decided to take a different route in the manga and decided to make hashirama one of the strongest ninjas ever.
Sir, Key point is why use interviews when you can't prove it via manga.

He said no weakness.. How do you beat a guy with no weakness?? You simply can't. And now you haven't even seen the Sage fight, yet your assume hes better then Madara, But we haven't seen Hashirama fight .. and you assume hes weaker.? wth is up with that.

And the guy who had basically all the tailed beasts under his control. can't subdue the Juubi somehow??. In the subduing part Hashirama > Madara. Also, Madara will just prove that he needs a tailed beast to take on Hashirama every single time.
The interview IS real, this has been confirmed a LONG time ago....it even said Tobi would be revealed in the next few weeks, and that is exactly what happened.
And the interview about Minato and Hiruzen was fake, but this one is real.
Anyway, I think some people are confused by what Kishimoto meant when he said he has no weakness.
What is a weakness? A weakness is something that you can exploit in a fight besides raw power to beat your opponent, like in Naruto; Suiton is weak to Raiton.
Itachi's weakness is his stamina and Nagato's weakness is his mobility. If you took those and their other weaknesses away (leaving them with no weakness) would that mean they are the strongest? No it wouldn't.
By saying Madara has no weakness he meant that Madara has nothing to exploit to make his defeat easier than it should be, he is saying they need someone who is straight up stronger than him to beat him.
Please tell that to the Madara fans. I agree, People seem to forget that Edo = Seals. Living person = Seals or death.

It's different than being undefeatable. Even Kishi himself said that everyone is going to work their way in defeating him, so why the drama?

The drama is because they can't accept, Hashirama having a chance at beating Edo Madara.
