I mean Naruto didn't he have the powers to keep someone from dying? Naruto was able to stop Gai from dying thanks to the eight gate and Naruto was able to bring back Obito conscious or alive with his power, after Obito lost the 9 Bijuu, Gedo Mazo and did Rinne Tensei. There was no reason why Naruto couldn't do the same to Madara.

Naruto could of sealed the Gedo Mazo to Madara while keeping Black Zetsu sealed, so there no chance of Kaguya returning.

Madara intention was good, but Madara idea to achieve peace was wrong. Naruto would let Nagato and Obito live even though they did evil, why not Madara.

Naruto didn't have any connection in which he could relate to Madara. Plus Madara served his purpose so there was no point in saving him with the Yang Seal.

It was a combination of both. He needed the Gedo Mazo to survive the Juubi Extraction and needed Black Zetsu to survive after Madara summoned the Gedo Mazo though of course, Rinne Tensei also took its toll on Obito.

Rinne Tensei or Bijuu Extraction.... I don't think it mattered.

Losing the Gedo was crucial as after he lost Black Zetsu, he had no extra source of life to depend on and thus, needed Naruto to save him. If he had the Gedo, then losing Black Zetsu wouldn't have meant anything.

Everything Madara did shows that he was not good--he was insane. Obito was brain jacked & tried to redeem himself in addition to the fact that they needed him in the Madara/Kaguya fight.

Well Madara got revived, with all his knowledge he would of been a great teacher for next gen Ninja.

Madara died of old age, but looks like he got revived young seeing he is healthy and looks youthful.

If there was no modification to Madara body then Madara should in theory die automatically as soon as he is revived.
