[Theory] Madara didn't actually go blind after Izanagi.

I know that it shows it, but perhaps the eye went back to normal after time. Here is a picture of that er.. thing with the four eyes. Maybe EMS users can use Izanagi/Izanami twice before fully going blind in any one eye. Perhaps it "closes" one of them?

I think he went blind but that the mazou and Hashirama's cells and chakra eventually regenerated it. Obito didn't appear to lose any light from his eye and it was embedded in the hashirama clone half of his body while Kakashi's eye went back to normal when Madara implanted it into himself.

Obito did lose sight in his eye that used izanagi. He replaced it with the rinnegan before the start of the war.

Uh, if you read my entire post, I said "eventually" regenerated Madara's eye, not one moment later. Furthermore, the eye he used for Izanagi was not "his" eye and it was embedded in the half of his body opposite the Hashirama clone.

With EMS you might not go blind no matter how many times you use it, however if a technique specifically requires such sacrifice, then the rule might not take place. Also, there is a misconception about rinnegan. Kabuto has never stated that you need EMS to evolve it into rinnegan. He has never said: sharingan>MS>EMS>Rinnegan. He only said this:

In other words, sharingan can evolve straight into rinnegan, if you have senju dna and ofc if you have the chakra or both of the previous ressurections. That being said, Madara might have to truly used Izuna's eyes, and he might have replaced his brother's with his originals. So his original pair of sharingan, that later became MS, that was the one which actually evolved into rinnegan.
