I keep hearing how everyone says that without the kyuubi, Madara would not have been able to survive the Shin Suusen Tu

but fact is, The Shin Suusen Tu was not destroyed by the kyuubi attacks, and was still operable.....so after it subdued the kyuubi, Madara would have fought it on his own and we see him survive until night time, and Hashirama exhausted.

It still had arms to fight, maybe not a thousand, but I'm sure it was still just as dangerous.

So what other explanation is there, other than Madara had to go up against it himself?

You can't compare the jutsu after it took on kyubi and susano.........that's like saying Naruto makes 1000 rasengans with his shadow clones and charges at you then someone interferes leaving him with 100 and you survive and is now claiming you can take on 1000 rasengans -.-

i just saw two manga scans in this thread, that is it

What do you mean? The two scans prove that he the Shin Suseen Tu was still operational after it's battle with the kyuubi.....it wasn't destroyed

meaning that Madara had to fight it without the kyuubi.....and the other one proves that he was still standing

100 is still impressive nonetheless, and that's a variable.....all know we know is that Madara still survived it

but could he survived it with its thousand arms.....who knows, but seeing as though he still managed to deal with it, I'd say it's feasible

QFT. Madara took on what remained after Shinsuusenju had taken on the Kyuubi with a Perfect Susanoo cloak. Also, the Kyuubi fired loads of Bijuu Bombs at it too.

I'm not saying it's not impressive but there is such a big difference between the before and after that it makes no sense to bring it up.

What do I mean... ? Well... I mean... it's common sense that Madara must have fought against Shin Sūsenju (BMT for future references... [BIG MOTHERFUKIN TECHNIQUE]) on his own without Kyubi.

I think he has enough destructive power to take it on ...

or hashi just went , " U know ? Fuk u, I'm gonna deactivate my BMT cause I wanna hurt ur ego"

and how could compare it to what it was to what it is? We don't know how much more powerful it is with the arms, so it's hard to compare.

How much more Powerful is the kyuubi with the Susanoo cloak than without it? It's hard to say.....but defeating just the kyuubi doesn't mean you can't defeat it with the susanoo cloak.

Same concept applies to Shin Suusen Tu

Well that's what I mean, people didn't seem to realize that Madara still took it on himself after he lost the kyuubi

don't know about the other part, but it seems unlikely since Hashirama already went as far to turn it on, and he said he'd protect the village at any cost.....so I would expect him to go all out

I believe Hashirama only summoned Shisuusenju to subdue the fox itself and not to battle Madara so most likely the technique was dispelled right after the Kyuubi was defeated.

This is an area we cannot fully know but because of that and the big difference in how Shin Suusen Tu was after the Kyuubi it's best not to compare it to the original in any way, shape or form and leave it as it is.

It's possible, but it wouldn't make sense.....if he was fighting Madara all out, to protect his village, and would not risk losing.....I don't know why he'd dispel it

Madara could have still reactivated PS later on to finish off the Shin Suusen Tu

Nonetheless, defeating something that huge, something a couple times bigger than the kyuubi is a very impressive feat.

and even in its damaged form, it still managed to defeat the kyuubi so its power is still top-notch.

i dont think that jutsu was specifically to finish off Madara but to put the kyuubi down since the kyuubi was the biggest threat with PS around him. After he took care of the kyuubi hashirama was gonna face madara off at least that is what i believe he was trying to do.

why would he go easy on Madara though? He almost died if it weren't for his mokuton clone.....I don't think he'd risk the sake of the village
