Madara delaying Hiashirama makes sense now

Obviously Madara delayed Hashirama because he knew that Obito was vulnerable to Senjutsu. But he had no idea that Naruto could use Sage mode. Question is why is he trying to preserve Obito, is he just gaining time for his black zetsu to try and allow him to control Obito again? Other than delaying Hashirama I can't see any other benefit.

Naruto being able to harm Obito obviously wasn't in Madara's plan so what will he do next chapter?

madara said he got a trump card. when he knows that only senjutsu works on juubi, so got sm too ? or use hashiramas senjutsu to beat juubito?

Of course he did, but it still makes sense.. Hashiramas senjutsu must be at least 10 times narutos

Maybe....can't really remember. I don't think he used it while Madara was around. He has used it while Obito was around but not Madara. During the Kage battle that Naruto was around he used Kyuubi chakra to stop one of his Mokuton attacks, apart from that Naruto didn't use Sage mode.

It isnt exactly distinctive is it at great distance, not like Hashirama's markings which are kinda obvious. Naruto only gets a little change by comparison. So maybe Madara hasn't noticed....He used it while the his Biju mode was on cool down. So maybe Madara was oblivious, he never makes a comment on it.

See I was thinking about that as well but Madara said something about needing to use his trump card before Obito noticed him right? It's not a bad assumption, but why would it matter if Obito figured out what Madara was doing if he's only delaying Hashirama? I don't think Obito's other half will benefit Madara before. It didn't work while he was weakened, I doubt it would work while on RS Obito.

I don't think madara was delaying hashi instead it was the other way round and actually naruto being able to harm obito maybe part of madara's plan,he may be waiting for obito to get defeated or weakened by naruto and the gang so that he can make obito use the rinne tensei jutsu to bring him back to life.
