Madara deactivating his Sharingan?

There is 2 possibilites to why he deactivated his sharingan,

1. He ran out of chakra and continuing to use it will further ruin his plan/kill him.


2. hes too cocky/dumb to not have it on in a fight against a god of shinobi?

Madara had his armor and Hashi had his arm intact in the page prior too....... U failed to realise that after Kurama was sealed a lot of fighting went on....

As for it being genjutsu.... Well but how did he get a mortal wound around the chest region?

Someone remind me again how the sharingan would have prevented him from being stabbed from the back? The sharingan doesnt have 360 vision. The way I see it, he would have been stabbed, sharingan or not.

I assume he did it on purpose, after casting a Genjutsu on Hashirama, to make sure Hashirama believes he's dead.
