It's impossible for Madara to have saved Obito since he wasn't old when he was ressurected by edo tensei. Doesn't edo tensei revive you in the state you were when you died?(Nagato for example) Meaning Madara couldn't really have met Tobi. So how do they know each other? Maybe Madara's mangekyou power is time-travel or something like that.

guys madara never met obito, if kishi shows us a pic of obito and madara meeting then all by means, but look at him he still has his armor on when he fought hashirama 80 years ago? why would he still be wearing something so old after many years?

Personally, I doubt it, but it fits his MO, doesn't it? Find a young, vulnerable child who has a lot of potential (Sasuke, Kabuto, the Sound Nins....too many examples to list, really), exploit their personal losses/hatred of the ninja world, then offer them more power so that they can be a more effective avenger.
