hey guys, mostly this question circullates around madara's Moon to the Eye plan, or Eye to the Moon plan that Madara been planning to do with his little pet currently. Im just asking in the name of shinobi-ism, is it considered Madara being compassion and decent, that is he doesnt want to kill everyone alive and just make them adhered and nodded under his spells? Or was he just a terrible physcho that didnt realise that the move just waste of time, controlling a puppet and he will be dead bored one day? Or, maybe he is just a coward who doesnt want any opposition from his enemy at all, and just making a short-cut in his career to become the great president of the united states of shinobi?

Tell me guys what you think?

He is just a complex guy. Don't try to fit him in any category.

He's a coward, clinging to his rivals clans dna just so he can make a genjutsu which he'll eventually get bored of.
People agree with the moon eye plan but the fact that an insane Uchiha(Madara or Obito) is controlling the gen doesn't really result to true peace.

He's human he'll get bored of the lack of chaos and imbalance.

the idea of "killing" comes down to the writer. If Madara was not bound by anything, he would go onto a killing spree most likely. Do not forget what he said to Hashirama on the last chapter. Madara will kill, and is going to kill.

All these things come down to plot. Why didn't Madara just spam meteors to get rid of all the ninjas and then do his plan?
The Kages were left to die, how come he didn't end it?

Plot?

On topic though:
Madara's plan is quite okay I guess.
He may just want his brothers back (by using genjutsu) and see the perfect world created by his eyes.

He wants to play with people's free will, put them under his command so that the world won't have anymore wars and peace and stability will return, well seizing someone from their own free will and making them his mere puppets sounds psycho enough

he want true peace...

But there is no such thing as true peace there is always 1 crazy ass who wants to **** things up..

So that is why he puts everyone in a genjutsu so he create true peace.

He lost his brothers, hates his best friend, asked his best friend to commit suicide, and eventually aided a kid into faking his death, so he can take revenge on the clan, which he thinks abandoned him, by killing them all, yet believes that peace can be achieved by trapped all of mankind in an illusion.

Classic Sociopath.

the death of his brothers, the weakening of his clan during his reign and the constant beating that he got from someone he thinks is inferior to him (hashirama-sama), all drove him insane, escaping from this harsh reality and trying to live in an illusion of what his life wouldve been. Madara can be considered a hero driven to villainy by his own weakness, motivated further by tobirama's constant antagonistic behaviour towards the Uchiha.

He is a raging sociopath who wants to run away to Disney Land. The infinite Tsukuyomi is proof of his insanity.
