I think madara will almost certainly use inzanagi to escape the edo tensei, however he will lose an eye as a result of cheating death.

(yes he does have ems but no i don't think he could spam it else he would essentially be invicible and hashi would never have beaten him:flaw

As soon as the jutsu has been released he realises this and loses his susanno right after showing its immense power.

Here we see itachi's left eye is blank after using izanami, izanagi's counterpart.

Also just before kabuto slices itachi in half when he activates izanami he could no longer use susanno and it fades away.

Madara isn't sacrificing a precious eye. You do realize this eye of his is too valuable to waste on a jutsu like izanagi.

I doubt Madara's gonna use Izanagi. I bet he's gonna disappear, and then Tobi's gonna revive him later with Rinne Tensei (using the tailed beasts' chakra to extend rinne tensei's time limit).

This. He'd be a complete retard to waste a rinnegan on Izanagi imo. Especially considering the fact that he may still be expecting Nagato to resurrect him. If he's guessed that Nagato's dead, he's probably expecting Tobi to resurrect him.

He needs to go really, unless hes going to be used for the growth of Sasuke or Naruto. If the plan is to make Naruto step up a level from fighting Tobi, then maybe their will be a clash of the last Uchiha's. The old legend versus the new and upcoming Uchiha

I can see where your coming from and yes when his soul leaves he will be gone from the material world. However what's to say that he can't use izanagi for 5-10minutes like tobi did to keep his existence going? This is the strongest genjutsu in existence we're talking about.

If that were the case he 'probably' could have done it long ago. 7 tailed beasts have much more chakra then nagato and he recently obtained the rinnegan. Tobi's main goal is to become complete/eye of moon plan, how could madara contribute to these plans?
Madara must be allied with tobi, but just using extra chakra seems too simple to get the technique to work. What was the point of all those zetsu's? Unless Tobi is still unable to use the rinnegan to its full capabilities then this seems unlikely, but not impossible.
