Madara's strength is surely comparable to so6p's, though we don't know anything about him except he had Rinnegan and perfect body..
But to win a battle takes more than that. Specially the things to protect, just like Konoha's will of fire, will be used to defeat him. And the kage's group even Madara admits he has to careful around them. Surely on individual level he has far surpassed everyone, but if a group were to attack him they might be able to win..
