Madara and The Sage...

I really can't see how some people think Madara is more powerful than the Sage... Let's break it down.
Madara has
-8 1/2 Bijuu
-1 Rinnegan

Sage has
-9 Bijuu
-Both Rinnegan
-The power of the God Tree's fruit

People very conveniently like to pass off the argument "oh the Sage is featless"
Well so is this new Madara.
And besides, that's not much of an excuse anyway. This is the guy who was said could create life out of nothing. The guy who created the moon, ripped out the god dwelling within him, and then divided said god into 9 different entities, then had a soul chat with all of them, all on his deathbed. Do you really think Kishi was just joking around when those things were said?

Now, would Madara give the Sage difficulty? Of course, of course. At the very least, mid dif, and that's pushing it. But the victor is clear.

dont forget that madara is missing the mazo arm(which most likely has a chunk of lifeforce from the mazo), also there's most likely one last form for the juubi... possibly only achieved if you have all of its original chakra with the mazo in perfect condition. but still madara is the strongest shinobi alive atm...

Exactly. However, what annoys me is, people actually think Pre Jin SO6P can beat Jin Madara. Just to show you how overrated he is. Also, people claiming Jin SO6P beats Jin Madara neg diff. If anything, he would beat extreme high diff, even though i would go for Maddy since he has SM.

We can say medium-high difficult until we get more information about all the powers that had the sage of the six paths. Don't get me wrong i like madara and stuff but you know that the sage of the six paths is a boss, he's like the Chuck Norris of narutoverse.

The information we got about him can possibly proven wrong if his character is revealed. Remember how the Juubi before introduced was said to be this absolute destruction that swallows mountains, splits occasions and a complete god. Yet when it revived, it was a complete joke compared to what it was hyped to be. Hiruzen was apparently this strongest Hokage and Kage and all, yet he isn't even all that.

Point is, we have to use common sense rather than baseless hype which may be proven wrong later.

Not quite yet, but Madara is right near him. Madara becoming a fusion of him and Hashirama is essentially putting him right near Pre-Jin Rikudou quite easily. Once Madara (if he does) acquire the Yin side of Kurama, he's basically on par with Rikudou, Jin form. Full Juubi, +2 Rinnegan (if he gets the other one and the fact that they are his eyes hold credence) Sennin Modo, and Mokuton that Rikudou lacks, on top of the Eien No Mangekyou that the Sage lacks.
