Madara and Orochimaru

So I think we can agree that although it is possible Kabuto surpassed Orochimaru in strength, it is unlikely he is a match when comparing 'roots' in the series. I'm liking the involvement that Orochimaru seems to have with the hidden history of Konoha.

So far we have the following people who know Edo Tensai:
Tobirama - creator
Madara - ?
Orochimaru - ?
Kabuto - from Orochimaru

Am I missing anyone?

So the question is. Did both Madara and Orochimaru learn the secrets of Edo-Tensai from Tobirama, or from each other and in what order?

I believe that Orochimaru had a stronger understanding of the technique than Kabuto (and in general all techniques). He wasn't foolish enough to spam it and lose control of several of his strongest resurrections. He also kept full control over those which he did summon. This leads me to believe that he also knew of its weakness.

Did Orochimaru and Madara meet? Did the share knowledge? If so, would Madara release the seal on Orochimaru and revive him? (not likely, but I'm still hoping for an Orochimaru return)

I thunk Ororchimaru knew a lot more about the the sage of the 6 paths and the history of the shinobi world more then we knew! Just from intelligence alone, he was able to decipher the uchiha tablet and learn about a lot of things and put them into practice.

Thats why i think he wanted an authentic uchiha body, because he knew it could eventually lead to rinnegan.

For exampe he takes Sasuke's body, uses the uchiha body to steal Itachi's body, to get eternal EMS. Then eventually get rinnegan. Also explains why he was trying to reproduce the first hokages abilities and try to become close to the sage.

thats a theory that makes sense, when we figured out that Ororchimaru read the secret tablet.
