Madara and Obito should have made clones of themselves to control the Juubi so that their real bodies would be able to move and wouldn't be stuck and be vulnerable to attackers. Obito would have been able to quickly make his clone use Kamui after using Juubi's TBB so that his real self can quickly swap positions after the damage was done. Madara should have made multiple wood clones of himself with PS so that he could destroy the Alliance. No cleverness? Please. I know it's because of plot but seriously... :shrug:

It would cause much more of a distraction while the Juubi would do something like raining down a billion wooden spears... This would be too much for them to handle thus causing them to just take it all and die miserably.

It's mainly for a good distraction because they almost all got defeated only by the wooden spear rain, and they were very focused on that. Imagine if they had other things to focus on. That would suck so bad lol. They would all die.

You do have a point, but it's mainly the Hashirama cells doing all the work. Madara has no problem with chakra because he's edo, and Obito has no problem because he's using Hashi's cells.

obito with the juubi use kamui and get the hell out of there.(obito can kamui the whole juubi as he is connected to near infinite chakra source and he can use kamui way better than kakashi anyway. )

Clones can't control the juubi they can barely control it as it is now.
