Madara and Light Yagami

Am I the only one who thinks that Madara and Light Yagami are similar?
Both of them were once good people but they became twisted and wanted to create a new world and both of them want to be the rulers of the new world. And they will do anything to achieve their goals, even if it means killing theirs friends, families and such.

Well they're similar in some ways (namely the ones you stated), but those are kinda common motives in anime/manga. Honestly Danzo seems closer to Light Yagami if you ask me, he just doesn't stress of creating a whole new world and sticks a bit closer to the status quo (maybe he feels like he doesn't have the power to overdo it).

Yea they are kinda similar but in the end light *****ed out n begged for his life like a sad puppy. He felt all high and mighty when killing ppl but when caught he begged the shinigami too save his life like bastard. But that new world order shit was kinda the same. I mean light did reduce crime in the world
