It wasn't his arrogance that made him turn his dojutsu off. It was clearly exhaustion. We know they can't keep it on every moment well trained Uchiha can keep it on a majority of the time, but EVERY SINGLE ONE shuts off when they reach that level of fatigue. So, he didn't see the clone because he was tired, not arrogant.

the sad part is hashirama never even tried to kill him but reason with him. The fact that madara needed kurama to help him clearly shows that hashirama was always on top. Guess what hashi still managed to stop Perfect sussano and kurama.

Any non bias person knows that hashirama beats madara 1vs1 anyday.

I find it very sad that you would try to make up a excuse such as arrogance to help madaras case.

Well its also called as Kawarimi no Jutsu or Substitution....

Well TBH both Madara and Hashirama were exhausted but Hashirama held back since he didn't wanted to kill Madara but Madara left him no choice so he had kill him. And as Madara he was not Using his EMS nor was able to Kawarimi no Jutsu because he clearly lacked chakra at that point of time.
