Giant objects move extremely fast even when they seem very slow. The moon is insanely fast, traveling many times the speed of sound, yet to our eye, it's not moving at all.
Take Hashi's Shinsushinju statue. It's miles tall and wide. If I was as big as that, me reaching my hand to scratch my nose in a normal time frame that it would normally take for me to do it, is probably going to be faster than a speeding bullet.
In the anime, look at how fast Madara swung that sword. Dividing the distance it covers by the time would indicate an extremely fast speed. Not even Ay could dodge it.
Hashi's statue, if moving at what seems to a far away observer to be extremely slow, would probably be moving faster than race cars. But the scan below shows that Shinshushinju can move very fast relative to it's size. Covering miles in fractions of a second.
Those speeds are easily reentry speeds. If Ay can dodge Amateratsu, then Hashi could do so easily by simply having the statue nudge its head.
Giant objects move incomprehensibly fast if they appear to be moving fast.
