Does anyone else like the way Madara acknowledged Gai in the anime? To me, the way he said it, was comparable to being awarded the medal of honor. It's not everyday one is acknowledged by Madara himself.
Madara acknowledging Gai as the strongest Taijutsu user was nice and him saying that his power feels like that of Hashirama was even better. Gai should receive a medal of honor for his War Arc Efforts.
For me it wasn't just the fact that madara complimented guy as thhe best taijutsu user but also the way histerically laughs and almost enjoys the fact that he finally gets to face a tough opponent. That part really showed how madara was so powerful that he wanted stronger opponents to face and that all the fighting up until that point was mere child's play according to madara.
i did as well. And Gai more than deserved it too, being one of only 2 ppl who had came that close to killing him since he was resurrected. One of the things i miss about Madara is seeing how excited he got at the prospect of fighting someone who was able to bring out the best in him.
Indeed. I also liked how Madara was so happy and laughing all the time while fighting against Guy, I bet he thought he wouldn't be able to fight anyone close to his level anymore since he was JJ Jin.
If it was normal madara, Gai wouldn't have needed 8 gates to kill him. Gai almost killed a hashi improved, jinchuuriki, sage powered madara, with eight gates.
