unfortunately some kids see murder as just another thing that you can do in this world. that sucks......
some depending on who they are can tell the difference.. kids should be really taught the truth about
what people ideas conceive are just sometimes copycats if not opposing thoughts.
Devil's advocate here, just so you know. I've realized I should state this more often in threads. I'm debating simply for the sake of it. ^_^
I don't really think racism exists anymore, not really. A few racists here and there, but for the most part it's over with. For example, I've had plenty of black* guys teasing me all the time and making racist comments about themselves. They'll say something racist, not about me but them, just to try and make me uncomfortable for a moment. Despite the smile and everything, I still get nervous, but I've learned how to just go with it properly and have a witty come-back.
In the end it's alright, and together we both laughed about racism in a way. Everyone knows there aren't any racists, so a lot of people walk around making racist jokes knowing that everyone knows they're joking and it's all in good fun. I see it every day, and nobody has a problem, everyone rolls with it. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself well, but basically I'm saying that racism itself has merely become humorous, humanity has decided to cover up such a horrible thing with laughter; it's a way of looking at the future instead of the past. To put away the chains of hate and embrace the love.

A child duesnt understand actual human morality. What they see as "wrong" is whatever they can get in trouble for. I'll give you a moral dilemma...
You have a wife who's dying of a curable disease but you can't afford the medication. You can break into a pharmacy and steal the medicine, your wife will live, but then you would get arrested for stealing. Is stealing in this case right or wrong?
An adult would say it's wrong but it's still the moral thing to do because they can save their wife. It's a sacrifice. A child on the other hand, would say "It's wrong because I will get in trouble". That's the only reason they see it as wrong and they would say they wouldn't do it. Nothing moral about that.
Okay, this is too off topic now lol but my point is that you can't say a child should have the morals to know right from wrong. They don't. All they know is what they're taught and what they see around them. If they see someone get shot and the person who did it doesn't get arrested, they'll believe that shooting isn't wrong. Then that belief would become engrained in them and they will grow up with no morals regarding human life. It's hard to change those type of things.
Racism is wrong period. You should never hate an entire race because of bad experiences you have with one person.
Race shouldnt even exist; it was created to label others, and make certain people feel superior to others. At the end of the day we are all human and all are made up of the same things. We are all created the same way and all die the same way. Our inside anatomy are all identical.
The only diffrence that we have is the diffrent amounts of Pigment/melatonin in our skin. If you are truely shallow enought to judge someone solely on the amount amount of pigment in their skin or bodily features, instead of their personality or intellect then you will never find true peace within yourself.

Half of you mofo's have no idea what president Obama does at all, all yall knew was that he was black, and he was running for president ~.~ Another thing, everyone's a bit racist, no matter what U_U You're telling me if you see 15 Mexicans jump in a van, you won't laugh? From my discussions with many people/Friends/Family; President Obama was elected as a symbol of hope for the future. African Descendants, Hispanic Descendants, and Euro Descedants supported his election so that american WOULDNT seem as racist as it has been in the past. It was a way to move foward as a country.
But I do agree that many have NO IDEA what he is actually doing in office.
And laughing at someone doesnt make you racist, but himiliating someone because of their race does.
@Foxylady: Sorry but i gotta disagree with you since its impossible to be brought up with every race this world has to offer. There will always be a race that we havent been in contact before.
When we perceive obvious, external differences, it's natural to discern and distinguish. However, when you radicalize this train of thought, that's where racism begins; linking such differences to negative ideas and connotations.
We cannot try to homogenize everyone in society. The beauty of human existence lies in its diversity! But perhaps the best thing to do would be to try and not associate differences with stereotypes. Granted, because of such ingrained perceptions passed through the generations, this is almost impossible.
And I do not condone racism in any way, but sometimes, depending on the context, it may actually not be a bad thing. Even the word and idea of "racism" itself, these days, is automatically considered negative, when it really shouldn't (depending, of course).
I dont understand why we still have things like racism in this world. Why are we even dividing ourselves anyways, like America,African,Hispanic,Asian etc etc. We are all human sharing this planet we need to stick together.
Im going to tell you quick story.
At my school, the racism is off the charts. Like there are a lot of arabics ( sorry if i misspelled) and people are always so mean to them for what? No reason at all. I even heard dumb reasons as to why like cause they have big noses (no offense) like who cares? Its a freaking nose! I asked this one person and i just said " why are you so mean to them?" and they're answer was because they need to get their own country, all i could think was wtf. It is horrible how they treat arabics at my school, the stupidity of the people there is too much for me to take, and the ironic part is, my school says " we accept everyone for who they are"...that is BS. Point is racism is stupid, i dont even why we have races to identify ourselves, it isnt #TeamWhite # TeamBlack #TeamHispanic #TeamAsian. Its #TeamHuman rep that sh*t.

The reason they give stupid reasons is because they have no reason, they're just afraid of saying "I don't know... My parents don't like their kind" this would make it seem as if they parents didn't raise them right, which they didn't, they just wanna be portrayed as a perfect entity. i feel sorry for those kids in your school, i know what its like to be judged and hated by somebody you don't even know, its worse for them because they have to go to that school every single day and face that crap for their entire school years.

I am black, and I will tell you. They only wanted him because he was black, they dont give a **** about anything else -.- they even came up with false shit, such as Obama was going to lower taxes. When he promised to raise taxes. I wouldve voted for obama, but voting on him based solely on race is in a way, racist
